What would happen if the Easter Bunny, Cupid, Jack Frost and other members of the Council of Legendary Figures suddenly began losing their powers? Find the answer in Santa’s Legendary Solutions, the third and final release in a series of children’s holiday books published by Carolina Handling.
In this latest story, the legendary creatures call a secret meeting with Santa Claus when they realize their magic is disappearing in a fast-paced, ever-changing world where children grow up too fast. The problem-solving ensues when Santa recommends calling Carolina Handling, the company that optimized his North Pole operations and saved Christmas in last year’s Santa’s Automated Workshop.
Written by Carolina Handling’s Marketing department and illustrated by Jason Craft, Santa’s Legendary Solutions highlights Carolina Handling’s capabilities as a systems integrator and a provider of automation solutions such as conveyor and sortation, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), automated storage and retrieval systems, and Raymond Corporation’s iWAREHOUSE® telematics solution.
The exclusive Raymond Solutions and Support Center in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and the panhandle of Florida, Carolina Handling provides advanced automated solutions that increase throughput and assist with ongoing labor shortages and consumer demand. The company’s Intralogistics Solutions Group offers consulting, design and engineering services, along with several automated products for systems integration.
“Carolina Handling’s holiday book series is novel way of raising awareness about the products and services we offer and their relevance for today’s marketplace,” said Carolina Handling Director of Marketing Donna Waldrep.
It also sets Carolina Handling apart from the competition.
“This type of marketing is unique in the material handling industry,” Waldrep added. “It sets us apart, accelerates our brand building and helps us tell our story in an engaging way.”
The idea for Carolina Handling’s first children’s book came from a meeting with the sales team, who shared that most of the company’s customers think of it only as a lift truck provider. If Santa Had A Lift Truck was produced to highlight the variety of products and services offered by Carolina Handling in a unique, memorable way.
So unique, in fact, that the company took home two Gold ADDY Awards for Book Design and Direct Mail, and a Silver ADDY for copywriting during the 2022 ADDY Awards hosted by AAF Greenville, the Upstate South Carolina chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
“The book was a fun way for our customers and potential customers to learn about all of our warehouse solutions,” Waldrep said. “We used a little holiday magic and the nostalgia of Christmas Eve to bring awareness to our full line of products and services.”
The second book in what Carolina Handling calls the Solutions for Santa series, Santa’s Automated Workshop, was released in 2022 and explores what happens when Jolly Old St. Nicholas packs his bags and moves to Cozumel. Following the instructions in a note that Santa left upon his departure, the elves call Carolina Handling to help save Christmas.
The book highlights Carolina Handling’s capabilities in consulting and systems design, conveyor and sortation, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), automated storage and retrieval systems, and Raymond Corporation’s industry exclusive Pick2Pallet LED Light System and iWAREHOUSE telematics.
